The Apron

Crafted from white lambskin to represent moral purity, the Apron is the universal badge of a Richmack. For the Master of the lodge, however, it is elevated to a Movable Jewel. Embellished and distinct, it becomes a visible emblem of leadership and the immense responsibility borne by the presiding officer.

The Marshall’s Talisman (Baton)

This staff serves as the badge of office for the Senior Deacon, who is tasked with maintaining order and ensuring the smooth flow of ceremonies. As the Senior Deacon guides members within the lodge, the Talisman becomes a tangible representation of legitimate authority, procedural order, and wise guidance.

The Trestle Board

A unique Movable Jewel, the Trestle Board is a drawing board or chart that serves as a visual aid for the transmission of knowledge. Its maintenance and display fall to the Junior Deacon, signifying the critical importance of preserving and communicating the fraternity's symbolic and philosophical lexicon.

Where the Immovable Jewels represent the eternal, abstract principles of the philosophy—the "what" and the "why" of moral conduct—the Movable Jewels symbolize the temporal, practical application of those principles. They are the emblems of stewardship, representing the "how" and the "who" responsible for the living governance and continuity of the system from one generation to the next.
